"The Look Alike" 2022 Pinot Gris

"The Look Alike" is a textural white made from Hunter Valley Pinot Gris

LOOK FOR:

A slight copper hue, tastes of Nashi pear and crisp green apples accompanied by honeysuckle aromas

THE TECHNICAL STUFF:

Hunter Valley Pinot Gris fruit was machine harvested in the early morning in mid-January. After three days on skins the wine was pressed and a cool ferment was had in order to retain fruit flavour. After fermentation the wine was aged in 10 year old French oak barrels which added a beautiful texture prior to bottling. Drink now or cellar for up to three years.
